My conclusion is that I’m sad to say that I wouldn’t be able to recommend this place to anyone.
I rented here because of the ?prestigious location, but beyond the facade of the Damac brand there’s nothing to like about this place at all.
− You will be paying much more than it’s really worth because the impression presented is deceptive and conceals the true nature of the place. Four, tiny , cramped elevators serve a multi storey apartment building, resulting in endless waiting times for the lifts. The building management seems to have very poor maintenance/ cleanliness of the corridors in the building. Expect bad odors and unclean floors in all the public areas. The parking basement is a maze and is a shared space between many different towers , with really poor signage so it’s very tricky to find the correct elevator to the correct building . Regarding the apartment itself, we had a really awful, nauseating smell coming from the bathroom drains and the bathroom would flood with water all over the floor every time we used the shower. Nothing seemed to solve this issue during our 4 day stay, despite the owners prompt response in trying to attend to the problem by sending out a plumber. We were rather disappointed to find stray hairs, water marks and mildew in the bathroom, and unacceptably dusty, stained rugs in the rooms ; despite reassurances that the apartment had been cleaned before our arrival. However, the owner was kind enough to send the cleaner again on our second day there, but it made no difference. Clearly the hygiene standards applied by the cleaning staff here were much lower than common practice.
